As one of only a few centers in the country dedicated to treating children with this condition, our Nemours Children鈥檚 Ear, Hearing & Communication Center provides world-class, coordinated care. Through recovery and beyond. Microtia repair surgery may proceed in multiple phases, months apart. We follow your child closely until they reach an age where they can transfer care to an adult provider.
We use state-of-the-art surgical techniques. Our surgeons use the latest procedures and devices for ear reconstruction. We also use 3-D photography, 3-D printing and augmented reality to assist with surgical planning, guidance and assessment.
